It's been a while but it won't be long before some new music gets posted. Working on 3 new songs that I hope to get up and running over the next few weeks. Thanks to everyone who has taken the time to listen so far. I need to get some more photos as there's only so much sloth one can take.
Afraid of me, another song to bathe along with.......................summer's here.
This is a new track written recently. Again it uses Jamie Radford's lyrics (aka Until the Ink Dries), again it is well stripped down and chilled. If you feel it's worth a comment, please feel free.
love

Just working out about this Group thing in Vox. Impressed that Indieboy has listened to the three tracks I've posted so far. I've now taken the week off work so I can be sure to be in when he calls round with a suitcase full of used £50 notes and a record deal. The doorbell doesn't work so he'll need to knock. If I'm upstairs I won't hear him.
Have a listen to these lo-fi tracks - please comment folks.
Before I start, I'm not to be confused with John Anthony the New York singer-songwriter, nor the expensive ladies fashion retailer in Bath, the magician, or even Anthony and the Johnsons (what did we know before Google?).
I'm John Anthony, John Paul Anthony actually, although I stupidly tried to set up a Myspace page using the initial 'p' to make sure I wasn't the guy from New York, and of course it then looked like 'johnpanthony'....so now people associate me with underwear.
Never mind, I'm a songwriter, mainly a composer, who is now making demos of songs to place with artists, as I'm far too old to be considered the next big thing. I've recently struck up a pretty effective collaboration with a lyricist called Jamie Radford. Please listen to 'Hope' as the first recorded sum of our parts, his words, my music and performance. The others, 'Calling all simple things' and 'Freefall' are entirely my own. Calling all simple things is a love song I wrote last year for my wife, Nia (now happily married for 10 years, and to each other). 'Freefall' is me and an organ, with some good ol' precipitation at the end.
We live in Carmarthen, West Wales, UK, home of Gorky's Zygotic Mynci and I think the dark haired woman from the Brotherhood of Man.
So, have a listen to the songs.....if you like them, please comment.
